From effort to effortlessness
About the workshop
The spiritual search often requires some effort at the start – healing psychological wounds, disciplining one’s mind and body, recognising mental, emotional and behavioural patterns that distract oneself from Being, etc. However, at a certain point, effort itself becomes the barrier. As the Buddha said, the teaching is a raft with which we cross the river; once the river is crossed, we leave the raft behind, or it will become a burden to carry. This workshop explores the shift from effort to effortlessness, from working on oneself to letting Being work through you.
